My work blends design with purpose—building with legacy and resilience in mind. I grew up in one of Atlanta’s most overlooked neighborhoods—the last place I lived as a teenager after moving through a series of HUD homes. I remember wishing someone would fix the broken sidewalks and neglected houses. But early on, I realized I couldn’t wait for change—I had to be part of creating it. I wasn’t helpless. I wasn’t a victim. That mindset came from my grandfather, who always told me, “If you want anything nice, you have to work for it.” I believed him—because going to my grandparents’ house felt like the Ritz-Carlton. It was full of pride, care, and love. I even got to make money cleaning and answering the phone at their tire shop. After high school, I moved with intention. I knew business was my calling, and construction gave me the hands-on education I needed. Every company I worked for challenged me and ultimately pushed me to step into my own vision. That’s how Maybridge was born—a company built from purpose, not ego. Outside of work, I ground myself through family, nature, and meditation. Despite growing up in an environment where beliefs were limited, I chose to think differently and follow the calling I couldn’t ignore. As we continue to grow, our mission remains clear: to help communities feel like home again and to support the revival of our skilled trades workforce—one project at a time.
