Latisha Perkins
Hi, I’m Latisha. I’m the founder of Maybridge Development and a licensed General Contractor with more than eight years of experience leading residential, commercial, and government construction projects.

I’ve spent the last 8+ years in construction, working alongside experienced contractors on residential, commercial, and mixed-use projects totaling more than $100 million in combined value. Over the years, I’ve learned that no two projects are ever the same, and that’s what keeps me interested. I genuinely enjoy solving problems, learning something new, and seeing a project come together from start to finish.
That passion led me to start Maybridge Development, a North Carolina licensed general contractor specializing in public lands, infrastructure, and community development. We partner with federal, state, local, and private clients on projects involving community revitalization, infrastructure improvements, environmental restoration, disaster recovery management, and energy efficiency. Whether we’re restoring public lands, supporting critical infrastructure, or helping communities recover and grow, our goal is to deliver quality work with integrity while making a meaningful impact on the communities we serve.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, exploring local restaurants and hidden gems with my significant other, working in my garden, hiking, reading, and making time for meditation. I love being outdoors, and one of my personal goals is to hike the Appalachian Trail someday. Whether it’s a few miles or the entire trail, I’m looking forward to the adventure.
I lead with a simple mindset: no excuses, just solutions. Strong planning, clear communication, and attention to detail are what keep projects moving and teams aligned. Because in construction, success isn’t luck. It’s preparation. Lets connect.

I enjoy bringing structure, organization, and efficiency to a fast-paced work environment.
My background brings together the technical foundation of Electrical Engineering and the business perspective I gained through an MBA in Corporate Management. My professional experience spans operations, administration, accounting support, technology, and systems and workflow management. I enjoy finding practical ways to solve problems, improve processes, and use technology to make everyday tasks more organized and efficient.
Beyond my professional life, I’m someone with a strong sense of curiosity and adventure. I enjoy traveling, discovering new places, experiencing different cultures, and stepping outside of my comfort zone. Whether I’m exploring a new destination, embarking on a new adventure, or simply trying something I haven’t done before, I value experiences that give me a fresh perspective on life.
I’m always looking for opportunities to learn, grow, and become a better version of myself. Whether at work or in my personal life, I’m motivated by progress and the belief that there’s always something new to discover, improve, or experience.

Hello! I’m Thea! At Maybridge Development, I coordinate residential rehabilitation and government-funded construction projects, working closely with homeowners, subcontractors, inspectors, clients, and our team to keep projects organized and moving from planning through completion.

As a Civil Engineer pursuing a Master’s Degree in Structural Civil Engineering, I combine technical expertise with a practical, solution-oriented approach to project management. I enjoy solving complex construction challenges, coordinating project scopes, and developing solutions that balance quality, budget, and program requirements to deliver successful outcomes.
I believe every challenge is an opportunity to create a better solution. As construction continues to evolve, I’m committed to finding efficient, sustainable, and client-focused approaches that not only deliver successful projects but also build lasting relationships with the communities we serve.
Away from the job site, I’m usually fueled by coffee, fascinated by new technology, and occasionally chasing a better golf swing. Thankfully, solving construction challenges comes a little easier than fixing my golf score.
